Ok, I’ve been around here long enough for most to know that I loath Christianity and 99.9% of its followers. I know, not every christian is like the members of the westboro baptist church… but they smell like it.

My disdane for the religon aside, I have one major gripe with the Jesus followers, STOP TRYING TO ATTRACT ATTENTION WITH STUPID TEE SHIRTS!.

Ok, I get it… you want some cloth advertising for Jesus… fine. But does it REALLY have to say “Megalife” on it with crusifiction artwork that looks like it could have been cover art for a Dave Mustaine album?

I saw a woman today with a “Lost” shirt. I am a big fan of the show, (not enough to wear a shirt, but thats cool anyway) she turns around and it had some “way, path, light” gibberish on the back. The front was the EXACT tv show logo with all the lost people siluteted behind the title, the back was stupid Jesus on a cross with a “how to not be lost anymore” message.

You assholes already attack and attempt to destroy the very foundaion of freedom that this country was founded upon just so what YOU believe will be in the limelight. You push to have YOUR believes forced upon others so you dont HAVE to teach your childen that the world around them isnt exactly like them. You even attacked the various forms of entertainment you now plagerize on your stupid shirts.

I will never understand how a group of people who want to be accepted as badly as you do, push so hard to be hated as much as you do.

With all the various hit songs, by all the various bands that made it big … would it have been different if another band had done the song?

Does that make sense?

How about this? Lets say you have the technology to travel in time and you go back to before The Beatles ever formed. With the knowledge you have now of their music, you write every one of their songs note for note, word for word, and perform them with anyone except those 4 people.

would any of them have been hits? Did it HAVE to be The Beatles in 63 to have I Wanna Hold Your Hand be a hit song? or did the song have merit on its own to be a hit no matter who wrote and performed it?

I used the Beatles as an example because they happen to be one of the biggest bands of all time, but any artist and any song fits this question.

Would Smells Like Teen Spirit (or even the whole Nevermind album) have affected the music world the same if some band called “Trench and the bloggers” wrote it in 1988?

Could Thriller have been as massive if I wrote it while Michael Jackson was still doing disco music?
